Single or Double cut? PRS SE Soapbar content.....

So I've finally narrowed my p90 quest down to a couple of guitars now( PRS SE Soapbar I and II). But I need some advice......

Is there an advantage that the single cut would have over the double for resonance and sustain? Or vice versa?

My theory is that single cuts are a bit thicker-sounding and a bit more resonant, due to the extra contact area between the neck and body. There's a reason why my Hamer Studio doesn't sound exactly like a Les Paul, even though it's made of the exact same woods.

^^could be true, but i don't think you would notice it. I think the PRS double cut looks classier

Get the singlecut thats if you can find one! They look real nice, I think they are being discontinued due to the gibson lawsuit they are more comfortable to play and the tone is awesome. Id recommend one of those over the new ones anyday. The resonance is better because of the thicker body and the joint.
