its a pedal that takes non-true bypass pedals (boss, danelectro, rocktron, ect.) and makes them true bypass. true bypass is importent for tone because when you have even 2 pedals that arnt true bypass it causes signal loss and that creates hiss among other things. so the way this works is... guitar \ other pedals > looper > pedal that needs bypassing > back to looper > out to amp \ other pedals.
