Sisters..... NBD

Whilst my damn Ipad is in a good mood and letting me copy images in photo bucket I thought I'd share my recent new to me bass day. I already had the cherry burst Sandberg and added the blue Ken Taylor model just because it looked pretty badass.... Oh and I guess as I'm hoping to gig soon and we will use standard and flat tunning it made sense to have 2. As basses go I love these things

oh that ba-lew
sexy grain and the big pickups

I had literally just did the guitar builder over at Carvin's website
with those exact specs

transparent blue with chrome and fat hums

OMG

Re: Sisters..... NBD

They both are so easy to play so as a 6 stringer makes things much more tolerable!

JJ - out of the 2 the CSB is the fatter sounding although the blue one has more sounds. They are both active with a push/ pull vol for passive in case of battery failure and the blue one has 1 vol with a blend pot which is pretty cool.

Joe - yeah like you I like a certain familiarity whilst having a different take on the same formula. I'll be honest this works even better in this case as playing bass after all these years of playing guitar as it hasn't been such an easy transition so having the same feel with a different look and tones is a bonus.
