3 sixteenth notes in the space of 2 ... instead of saying
"1 - ee - and - uh 2 - ee - and - uh 3 - ee - and - uh 4 - ee - and - uh "
for a measure in 4 :4 time (16 individual notes)
you say
"1 - uh - lee - weed - uh - lee 2- uh - lee - weed - uh - lee 3- uh - lee - weed - uh - lee 4- uh - lee - weed - uh - lee "
for a measure in 4 :4 time (24 individual notes)

id say practice with a metrognome (i use one on powertab)
you might get the feel of 6 per beat before long
try 5 or 7
ey gads!
but i rekon the best way to help with improvising is to take a short phrase and play it over the metronone in as many diferent "ways" as you can
making some notes realy short and others longer etc
repeat each variation you come up with over and over untill you come up with a new one.
the coming up with a new one bit is the hardest to explane, but youl get it if you try.
this way youl probably put in some sectuplets without thinking about it, and because your repeating it over and over youl get used to the way it sounds.
that way youl improvise it automaticly
and that is the aim!
