yeah, thats a good way to describe it.. Would be a good niche in the market too.. Coal Chamber used to be called spooky core or something like that..

there is a heavy side to the C8? ..i just went straight to the satanic awakening tone..i skipped all the artsy fartsy angelic C8 tones.

but really what cant this pickup do? i pushed it to its limit here and it still has clarity more than anything else.

I can't tell if you get such heavy sounds because you tune so low, or because of your recording set up, but either way, I think you should do a video tutorial to show how you get killer metal guitar tones...cuz man...it totally kicks at least 50 different kinds of ass.
