slash sig LP switching to gibson pickups?

slash said in a recent UK "Guitar Buyer" mag interview that the gibson humbuckers sounds good and he approved to change the A2Ps in his sig LP. any confirmation on this?

I read that Slash uses APH's in some guitars and bustbuckers in other guitars.
