Well, I guess I've had a few pedals in my time that fit the description! I found an old MXR "Command Series" Overdrive for $10 in a pawn shop. It was a pretty cool little TS style overdrive. When my early 80's Ibanez delay and chorus were stolen, I had to replace them fast. I nabbed an Arion SAD-1 delay and an SCH1 chorus. Both worked so well, I used en for years till they became highly collectable. Perhaps the biggest looks and laughs that turned into 'what the hell is that thing', was a pedal built by Harley Caulderstich....what he called "Nocturnal Omission"....this was 5-6 years ago and did the Mad Professor Golden Cello thing with a sweet overdriven tone coupled with a nice fat delay. It looked like a can of tuna made into a rats nest, but it sounded like gold....
