Slide guitar or trumpet?

Here is a little thing I put together a while ago. The sounds are not quite as good as I can get them these days. I like the trumpet guitar sound, but the acoustic is a bit overloaded and crunchy. The vibe is good though.

The tune is one I remember from my days as a fetus, on of my dad's favorites ... 'I'm getting Sentimetal over you' ... what a melody!
