Slight crackling sound when touching strings...

Hey guys, my guitar gives me slight cracks or whatever you might call it when I touch the strings... sometimes... I think it's also humming a bit less when I touch em... looks like a grounding prob, but I redid the whole thing today and still the same, so I think it's not a wiring problem (I did the most beautiful wiring I ever did)... anything I may have missed? Can a faulty output jack cause such problems? Are there things like faulty output jacks?
