Slight hum when not in middle position

I installed a set of Seth Lovers in my LP. I absolutely love them. But, I'm noticing a slight amount of noise/hum with each pickup that goes away when I select the middle position. Is this normal? I do use a bit of gain, but nothing super heavy. Think VH levels of gain.

I think that's normal to have some noise when using gain with humbuckers. I notice the amount of noise changes when I switch between different pickup positions too.

Might have to do with the electrical noise level in your house/area. The power in my house is really dirty, and there are several radio stations nearby. All my guitars make noise with any amount of gain.
