Love your style. You make it sound so effortless. I actually found one of my old slides, gave it a go, put it away. End of my slide playin for another 5 years.

KIrk..... I loved it Man. You have a great feel for slide. What kind of gear did you use? I am currently playing slide on a 1956 Harmony H44. Its a real cheesy Guitar, but it sounds amazing for Slide. I am running this through a Marshall 900. Your recording sounds nice and Thick... Great stuff!

it is very addictive. ive been trying to get my slide playing down for a while now, and i have the basics and can play it, but i just cant get it over the cliff.....



great clip, sounds very much like my idol duane allman (for good reason to, its in the key of "a" and your technique is much like his, which is a plus). great stuff, cant wait to hear more!

KIrk.....What kind of gear did you use?

I'm using my old Strat (which seymour set up for me in 1973 when he worked at Fender Soundhouse in London and we were both kids), with SD stacks, into my DigiTech RP100, into my little Alesis mixer, into CoolEdit Pro. Believe it or not. No one heard it go down but me through my earphones.

I use really heavy strings though 16-18-24-34-44-54, and a really heavy slide. That's where a lot of thickness comes from.

That wasn't open tuned, it's just the bass string down to D, and I only used it once or twice. It's standard tuning I'm in on the top 5 strings. I also got lost in open tunings.
