Check out the Fender Blues Deluxe tweed. They're $300-$400 on ebay. All tube amps with a 12'' speaker, 40 watts, and they scream. They are awesome amps.

Hey,

save up another $50 and get the Ibanez toneblaster 100 watt (TB100R). The head won a guitar player's editor's pick award.

this is the head version. you can get the 2x12 combo for $350. It sounds incredible for a SS. WAAAAYYYY better the peavey and fender SS stuff.

i tried the ibanez ... not a fan of the tone. i couldn't find one tone i liked, and that was tweakin the hell out of both channels. i was left unimpressed.
