Small amps?

I guess they can cut the muster.

I saw Volbeat last week at a 2400-2800 capacity venue, depending on how they arrange the seating, and the opening band was Crobot. Not a great band, not bad. But their only guitarist was rocking a Tiny Terror into a 4x12, and through the PA, it sounded gigantic. If you don't have a 100 Watt monster, it's okay. But people on internet forums will still probably make fun of you and give you bad advice.

i play the same amps if im in a 100 person club or on a festival stage. 20w 1x12 works great in a club and on stage i roll it up to 8 and the sound guy still loves me and it sounds crushing thru the pa

Small amps sound different than big amps. Play what you like.

i agree and thats why i have 50w and 85w amps but i dont find they are practical for anywhere i play on a regular basis

He changed his rig... I saw them open for Rammstein last summer and Rob Caggiano was running Fryette Six-X's and Michael Poulsen was running Marshall 2210's

I love them all but recently I'm running the Bassman through a Power Soak, the SoCal 50 on 25 watts, and the lap steel through a Blues Junior.

I have no idea what Poulsen and Caggiano were playing through. I'm talking about the dude from Crobot.

But Poulsen did crowd-surf out to a four-year old girl to give her a new T-shirt. And then he brought all the kids onto the stage for a song. Really great show.
