It seems very touch sensitive and at the same time, it feels you put that gain knob quite far up.

At first it didn't do that much for me... but now... I'm digging it. Quite bassy (your trademark? ;)) but it helps in the 'open and big' way as you mentioned.

Nah was just me playing with the volumeknob on the guitar...not much gain, at 11 at most.
I like huge bottomends, modern tight do next to nothing for me:D
Actually I really dislike that tight and overly gained sound quite abit in my own stuff.
This is how I really like it...big and open.

Ohhh then it cleans up darn well I say! And if that's just 11 on the gain knob, I'm sold ;)

Wow... I like it! It has a very Fuzz face Hendrix kind of sound and the note definition is excellent. Nice one. Did you build the pedal? Are they gonna be for sale? Either way, VERY nice.

Yep I build the pedal..it is not fuzzy only it does...
Hehe got no idea yet about sale, it is just a sideproject I have, a few other creations has risen to be sold though...

Man, that sound is so fluid... I wish I could get that sound.... very cool.... let us know when you sell the pedals!!!

Well its the first time I like a drive that sounds so les paulish cold. I am way into warm creamy drive i.e. Spina TS, germanium ols school treble boosters, but this this is so cold sounding and I love that cold strat sound, it was your new strat right? I can see this pedal pushing my AOR in a quite magnificent way ....

One more small clip of the thing, same setting as the first clip, just with my Ibikay-caster with a BL L-500L and two Silky Edge singles.....used a Yamaha flanger towards the end...
Took it to work yesterday, and tried it on several different amps and speaker setups.
Morphed along with the amps, and liked hot pickups, more sensible vintage ones as well.
And it keeps that slightly smooth fuzzy quality...I am quite pleased...so now I just have to grill the boss for it later on!!

you're getting there. i personally don't think it's quite there yet, but sounds like you're really on to something. i don't know if it's just me or what, but i think it's just a little fuzzy around the edges and it sounds just a little transparent. i'd like to hear it just a little more focused and saturated. i don't know if this comment was helpful, but take it for what it's worth. keep up the good work man

On normal amps...it is faaaaaat and fuzzy and old...:D
It is supposed to be like that Shogun;)
And this is done on a small solidstate directrecord preamp....it acts more differently on tubeamps....but still keeps that fuzzy and open....

Duude, I loved it. The first time something sounded coldish and I loved it. Maybe glossy and creamy to me is whats warm to most people, I dont know. But I love it as it is, intuitively I think it will work great with AOR's pre-amp. I think you've got it.
