Small wiring question

I have a push pull tone pot and I want to wire it in such a way that I can switch between two tone caps
is it possible to do it like this(both are soldered to the pot):

Seems like a waste of a good push-pull switch to me, but it should work.

Just keep in mind, if the tone is set to full blast, the cap is doing nothing.

I can see maybe rolling off the tone a little, then pulling the pot up for a slightly different change. But, I don't think you're gonna hear much change. I could be wrong though.

The only advantage I could think of would be, splitting the coils of a humbucker, and wanting a different cap in the circuit for the single coil. If I wanted to do something like that, I would look in to a 500k resistor in parallel with the 500k tone pot, that is switchable in or out. That way when you split the humbucker, you flip the switch and turn your 500k into a
250k.
