Smallest amp you would take on a gig...

Re: Smallest amp you would take on a gig...

I normally run direct to PA, in a room of about 50 people. But for a while I took my SS peavey as a monitor (our monitors at the time were horrid, and we could not get a good balance)
One night we had direct box and cable issues, and our acoustic stopped working. I gave my line to him, and played my effects into the amp, no PA.
the amp is a 110r (old one) and is 35w or so and a single 10"
It is plenty loud for any venue where your drummer can go without a mic.

Hey Jackson MIA- what is that on top the marshall cab? It looks like one of those smokey amps or something.

Wattage isn't really as much of an issue for me, as long as I have 2x12. I need a little headroom for a good clean tone and two 12" speakers for that wide tone. A 1x10 just won't cut it.

I take my 60-watt Hotrod Deville 2x12 to all my gigs.

It's Luke's amp and cabinet, so that's as far as we could go with it. He doesn't have another cab.

They're definitely cool little amps, though.
