I'm wanting to get liquidy round full lead tones from a single coil pickup, similar to the Dimarzio Titan and Liquifire but in a single coil, do any exist? any suggestions?

Air Norton S, Virtual Solo, Pro-Track

You roll down the tone control or combine the neck and bridge in series.

Thanks but that's not what I'm asking, I'm asking for suggestions for pickups that will get me closest to that sound. The Air Norton S seems like it would be closest to the tone of the Titan seeing as though it's made by the same company, the Air Norton S is technically a single coil sized humbucker and it seems to have the closest eq balance to the Titan as well as both having ceramic magnets. If only they made the Ionizer single coil in a 6 string version.

OK, spend your money however you want on a new pickup rather than simply turning a knob/minor amp adjustments.

turning a knob wouldn't do anything seeing as there is no pickup in the guitar yet. I'm not replacing a pickup, I need one to put in the guitar that I'm building.

You could of clarified that in your first post. The more information you give us, the more we can help.

I still love your sig. But you've got to get rid of it...I'm spending way too much time watching the jiggles and indulging my imagination.

I find their EQ charts different for humbuckers & mini humbuckers and not much relative to each other. I'm guessing this is for the neck slot? I would start with the chopper if the neck is balanced sounding, if chopper is too dark then get the FT1, for more darker sound get Pro Track. If its in the bridge slot then, the BCs, SDS1, FT2 & beyond are somewhat smoother options.

Any other options? I want a tone very similar to the Titan but it doesn't necessarily have to be Dimarzio, as long as it has similar tone

Re: Smooth round liquid lead tones from single coil?

when i think of what you describe i think of john frusciante's tone. for that i'd get the SSL-1 set.

Ritchie kotzen gets some good tones outta his chopper t and twang king setup. Bareknuckle piledriver neck, Texas hot or maybe even an Alnico 2. I've also seen people
Put single hot strat pups in the neck. Maybe consider something along those lines.

A compressor as the first pedal, a quieter pickup to get rid of the increased noise (any noiseless pickuup will do the job)
