Wow, I'm glad I did. It plays and sounds great. I'm much more impressed with the Burstbucker Pros it came with than I thought I would be. Enough so that I may have to do some mag swapping in my regular Burstbuckers.
The fit and finish of the guitar is very good, except for the nut. It looks a little funky on the on the ends, but nothing that effects function, and is easily overlooked. I was sceptical about the asymmetrical neck profile, but ended up liking it. It's very subtle, but it does make the guitar play nicer. It has more meat to it than a regular '60s profile, but not quite as much as a '59 profile. It's a nice happy medium. The push/pull split function isn't really a split. I think it just switches from series to parallel, because the tone change isn't all that drastic, volume level stays about the same, and it still cancels hum. The blower switch is nice to have, and the phase switch is cool too.
Overall, I'm really happy with it. Plus, it's beautiful!
