It's not about where it's made. It's about the reputation. Line 6 has a pretty bad one.
my chinese amp is frickin badass and will eat line 6s for breakfast and sh!t them out before lunch.
Seymour uses one.
If one can make a Line 6 work for them, that's cool. But they are not something one should buy without trying first.
What doth thou speaketh? I bought my PODX3 Live pedalboard sight unseen and sound unheard... I've been nothing but extremely happy with it for the last 6 years. It hasn't given me one problem or glitch yet (knocks on wood).

Sometimes you get lucky when you hold down all the channel buttons and power it up. It resets the logic.
Or, you clean out all the jacks on it with contact cleaner and a Q Tip.
When a modeler is about 10 years old, the jacks start creating problems. We're just now finding this out, since modelers are coming close to becoming vintage.

it's a combo (1x12) and it has a footswitch with a bunch of different settings/effects. he told me it was one of the top line 6 models.
