MAN! What a pedal! What a sound! For a long time I thought the fulltone thing was just a bunch of hype...but now I have seen the light!! I'll post a more in depth review later, but right now I can't...gotta shower, eat, and work...later

Mike Fuller spearheaded the whole 90's boutique pedal revolution. It wasn't on hype, it was by delivering better pedals than all the mass produced ones.

I love every Fulltone product I've owned, and while I'm down to two, the Clyde Deluxe and Choralflange, I'll never hesitate to buy anything he makes.

Which color did you get? I had an early orange one, a blue one, and sold them both, just to try other stuff. Now, I wish I could grab another one, and can't decide whether I want the white Custom Shop or the new 10th Ann. Mosfet.

it's a blue one with cream knobs and the mini toggle...I'm diggin it...I'll be posting pictures of all my new gear soon..just waiting on a wah pedal to get here

Yes Sir....I grabbed a 10th Anniv. MOSFET & it's a great pedal.

I think his pedals are literally designed to work with Fender and Marshall amps first and foremost. The FD2 tends to work with many amps. I can't say the same for all their models. Luckily my amps stay in that vein.

The FD2 is really transparent. Responds well to volume. I wish you could switch modes on the fly. The FM mods is classic and the Comp Cut mode is huge and adds harmonincs all day!

Anyone used the FAT BOOST ? Is it similar to the comp cut? I only used one once.

Mine is a yellow one. It was one of a short run of "Flat Mids" models he did well before he came out with that option w/ the toggle. Mine is circa 2000.

I always thought it'd be cool to own all of them, where you could sit them all side by side and hear the subtle differences. I've seen these...
Aluminum box Fulldrive w/1 mode.
Aluminum box FDII, which soon turned into the debut...
Orange FDII with no miniswitches and no pullup knobs. 1996
Orange FDII with pullup comp cut 1997
Blue FDII no mini switch, has pullup comp/cut........black or creme knobs 1998
Blue FDII has mini switch for vintage/compcut, but NO pullup
Yellow Custom Shop (same features) 2000
White Custom Shop (same features) 2002
Burnt Orange FDII 10th Ann. Mosfet 2006

This is the order and approximate years, to the best of my knowledge.

Great pedal! I owned one for more than two years and used it with a Fender Prosonic - absolutley loved it. The only reason I do not use now is I prefer the amp overdrive of my Fuchs TDS 50 and Mesa Mark IV.

haha it is a great pedal im glad u like it. didnt make a huge difference with my amp (its a POS). down the road once i get a nicer tube amp, lookin at some deluxe reverbs or maybe the new fender supersonic, im def gettin a fulltone pedal again for some nice crunchy gain. probably will go with the OCD though, i love the soundclips of it on the fulltone website.

I have a Fulldrive II (Blue FDII no mini switch, has pullup comp/cut........black knobs 1998) and love it!

I have gain set to 9 o clock and boost set at 12 o clock so that it acts as 2 levels of drive for my Orange 1/2 stack
