Distortion Set is a never fail idea. I honestly have only one guitar with a Distortion at this time (or for the past decade+). Could be time to go home….

Or I could get all post modern with the Pegasus Sentient set…intriguing.

I do Have a Tone Zone laying round however….and a PAF.

heck, if you got the Bone Zone, (playing on Jollys comment.... LOL) give it a whirl.. Those are beastly!! If that doesn't trip your trigger, then go with either a Dist set or a Super D in the bridge..

Looks like those covers don't have holes for pole pieces so you could transplant them over to humbuckers with flat bars or filisters.

If the string spacing supports trem-spaced pickups, a PATB2 in the bridge and a JB in the neck.

The first thought that occurred to me was an Alt 8 in the bridge and Demon in the neck. But it depends on the natural tone of the guitar/wood. I'm assuming that one has the thick mahogany body. The Alt 8 has a lot of mids, but it has solid bass and nice present highs. The Dist would also be a good choice, but with my aversion to ceramic I'd recommend A8 in the Dist.

For the neck the Demon, Jazz, or Pearly would be good.

Obviously, keep the covers on whatever pups you decide on.
