And some of them ones have fell to the wayside in favor of my IndyGuitarist SD-1 that once was Brent Mason's and my Smallclone and Holy Grail see alot of use also.
But today I broke out my $38 shipped ebay impulse EHX Double Muff and boy did I really love it! I never really liked it and it has been gathering dust in its wooden box with the box candy to keep it company for a year or more.
70'ish Fuzz Circuit that cascades into a higher gain second circuit. You can switch off the second circuit and adjust just the first circuit's volume...True Bypass to boot!
You can go from a plug in and play clasic rock tone with the first muff and always switch over and really roar using the cascading muffs...
my only complaint is that the second muff should have been footswitchable!
What are everyone elses opinions of this box? am I crazy for loving it?
P.S. I ran it into my Galaxie 10 set clean. I think before I was trying to overdrive a already crunchy amp!
