I can see some elongated oval inlays working well in that MoP for preference.

I might be in the minority here but i like inlays i think it would look sweet with an ebony board and pearl block inlays.

I actually like the look of the single star at the 12th fret better than no inlays. I think block or trapezoid inlays would look good too.
