fun bluesy rock, agreed. It's begging for some sweet groovin' basslines (instead of just following the guitars) and maybe dual harmonized guitars in some parts.

Also those guitars really gotta get more mids and presence in the mix. There's a good amount of attitude in the riffs that I'm not also hearing in the tone.

I'd agree with CTN fully on this one. The riff is great, the tone needs to come up a notch or two though - I've only listened through an iPad speaker, but there's a hint that the tone is just a little wooly.

I've put together some better produced ideas. I'll get them out when I can.

Got tired of pop and modern rock. Discovered Johnny winter and SRV. Life changed.

Honestly now was the right time. Now is when my hands can handle the licks. Before would have been frustrating.

I hear you man, went through the same thing a few years ago when I left my black/death metal band. It's pretty refreshing!
