So is this the way to amplifty my guitars??

Re: So is this the way to amplifty my guitars??

the XT live can sound great direct, with a little tweaking. We use the XT (not live) at church, and nobody can tell the difference. Even had a younger guitarist come up to see what kind of amp we were playing through.
Heck, even a cheap digitech can sound decent with a good preset and a good PA system. See the guitar played

Just a digitech rp200 direct.
Having said that, I would play whatever way the sound guy is most comfortable with. If he is a good soundguy that is.

Mic'ing an amp is the tried & true method. You control your stage volume, and the FOH mixer (front-of-house, or soundman) controls what the crowd hears. Be careful, however -- you & your bandmates can get in a clash of the egos, trying to "hear themselves" above everyone else, until everyone gets tinnitus (ringing in the ears).

Whatever floats your boat, bro. Just make sure that your drummer doesn't get :drill::cussing: when he hits some rimshots.

Seriously, stay strong, stay safe, come home soon!
