V is for VAULT!!!!!

I'm speechless at how awesome this project is, and how jealous I am of your skills. I think your methods will help out countless others on their own projects.

I like to think people will learn more from my mistakes rather than whatever skills I may or may not have.

All I know is that this build has been a ton of fun.

What a great project! I'm a little late to the blog, but I just read all of it. I'll definitely be checking for updates :)

That came out pretty good. Either a slot cleaning saw, slotting saw, or dremel can be used to clear the slots.

Re: So I've decided to build a Les Paul

I didn't think of my Dremel. Unfortunatly I don't have a slotting saw.

man, aside from your fretboard faux-pas, you've got some great work there! i wish i had the patience to build something such as a whole guitar. btw how much are all the parts costing/going to cost you? including the parts and wood for jigs?

Good question. I spent a couple hundred on the wood. I'm waiting for the shop to get my hardware in so I'm not sure how much that will be. I'll figure out how much it cost after I have everything.

Re: So I've decided to build a Les Paul

Another update has been posted. There are actually two parts. In part one I botch the binding job. Tomorrow I'll post part two where I fix it.

Think link is found all over this thread.
