I had an sg for a while. I bought it second hand at a ridicolous price. It came with a dp103 and a super distortion. I played it extensively then I decided to go with a different solution ( the dimarzios went into a les paul): an early 90s blues vintage set. Solid tone so far, covering a lot of ground. Then again a pickup swap in favor of 59/custom hybrid and a jazz. Weird couple, yes, but it was the best solution for that Guitar tone wise. The Guitar has gone but I still think the hybrid is perfect for an sg

Sure They work pretty well together. But they are not so frequent on a sg
