Hey all,

Here's a clip I recently chucked together, along the lines of a Megadeth thrash type song.

I used my alder bodied Jackson kelly with the custom in the bridge into a Boss GT-8 straight into the PC.

It's pretty rough, just guitar with Mr F. Loops on drums No post eq or doubling of guitars. I might do some bass for it soon and write some lyrics. So I suppose it's like a demo-demo at the moment lol

Good job, man! I can totally hear Mr. Mustaine's influence in your playing--aggressive, fast, VIOLENT. The solos sound really thrash too Definitely post your finished demo.

Very Rust in Peace tone. Very wet and creamy. Its got that harmonic crunch thing going on. Where you can hear harmonics come out when you press or release the strings. You get that with high distortion. Very cool.

I'll see if I can convince my friend to belt this one out on the drums next time he's in the studio.

I've been wanting to produce an album with all original songs, but with varying styles of music. Kind of like a righteuos journey through rock & metal lol

I think this one will make the cut :fingersx:

That said, I think you should know that I'm not a metal head. Actually, the closest I've ever gone to metal is one VH CD and some Paul Gilbert, so good job man.

Yeh go for it! Glad to hear you like it. I'll be recording it again later so this was just a practice version to see if the structure would work.

That was cool. That key change and solo was really megadeth-esque! Now just put in some crazy vocals.
