So what "standard" duncan pickup is most like HB103?

My Hamer Echotone has Duncan Designed HB103 pickups in it. I put 59's in it and missed the fat overdrive of the hb103's. However, the hb's dont have the clarity of the 59's. Sounds like I'm going to trade up to a C5. Hotter version of the 59's.

I'm just curious what pickup are the HB103's modeled after?

Distortion set. Source: click that little logo at the top of your screen, then go to Duncan Designed under products.

The H103b is the Duncan Designed version of the Duncan Distortion bridge, and IMO is the best Duncan Designed pickup they make, it sounds very good.

I agree. I've heard some HB-103bs that sound virtually identical to the SH-6.
