So who is Graham Coxon and what has he done..

..to deserve the sweetest telecaster I've ever seen on the Fender site. Seriously, this guitar has everything I'd want on a tele stock, but I don't have a clue who the guy is. One of the rare signature models I'd even consider picking up if the price and feel were right.

I really like the guitar, but I'm starting to wonder what's going on with companies these days. I mean, I've seen Gibson and Fender give signature models to pretty low profile players. It's pretty cool that they do, but I just don't see how the "signature" aspect will push sales if the player him/herself isn't that well known.

The only other reason could be that they think that the younger people who used to listen to Blur are now older and more capable of buying gear, but I still don't think that would be such a huge and untapped part of the guitar market...

Edit: Besides, only available in Europe. Not cool!

Blur were massive over here, so that makes sense. Also, Graham is pretty popular because of his solo music, as well. I'm not surprised that a lot of Americans don't know who he is.

He's a pretty good guitarist, though. He plays some interesting rhythms.

Blur is my favorite band of all time, hands down. Graham is a fantastic guitar player and deserved a sig tele about 10 years ago.

Go to 2:37...that solo is ridiculous, and Blur albums are filled with solos and riffs like that, Graham is an incredibly unique guitar player. Seeing as I just sold my tele, I will definitely be picking one of these up.

Oh my god, they were the guys behind that Song 2? I.. I'm not even sure how I feel about that guitar anymore Nah just that one song was overplayed and the rest of their stuff doesn't seem like my cup of tea, but again that guitar gives me GAS hard.
