SOAD's new live guitar amp

Anybody know which 2x12 combo it is that Daron Malakian of SOAD has been using live? Whatever it is it sounds really cool... good cleans, pretty great distortion.

He's using a /13 ERT 33 with two /13 212's for the clean tones, Modded Marshall Super Leads (new ones..) for the OD tones live.

I don't think he ever was using ModeFour, even though he was endorsing them.... it was usually a Mesa Dual Recto or two.

SL??? I didn't see any Marshall amps at all on the stage, just Marshall cabs!

I saw system live a few days ago. He's got a fulltone clyde wah and a mesa foot controller on stage, thats it. I'm also fairly sure the unknown amps on top of the marshall cabs are just 1x12" cabs, but I could be wrong.

There was some debate on whether or not the 1x12s are /13's or not.....

Unfortunately he only ever uses one or at the most 2 amps live. It used to be just Mesa Rectos now it's apparently /13's and Marshall Super Lead Plexis. All that other stuff is just studio layering, and I don't know if he even used all of it on records.

Crack and pot, from what I've heard/seen. The big question is why he'd have a bong that tall sitting above $5000 in amps and rack gear. :welcome:
