What amp are you playing today?

playing this early this morning

was running the drum loop through the phone and tried to shoot a video at the same time

too much for that poor phone

the built in tuner is sweet as well

thats what I like about the Blackstar in lieu of the Cube I have
my poor old Cube30 aint got no Tuner or looper

the Blackstar will let me Bluetooth a drum loop to practice with

I feel you. A 30 with a tuner would be perfect!

And apologies, My office is actually a MicroCube. It has that dumb press the button and get an A440 pitch.

Some years ago
I did the back to the future
KARANNG

And all my neighbors ran out to the front poarch to see what happened

I waved . They all laughed and went back in

Back in the 80s ,

On that same poarch they called the law
It was different neighbors and different times back then

Tonight was my Deluxe on about 3. It wasn't distorting. I played clean most of the night, but used a Tube Screamer a few times.

same '66 deluxe reverb i usually gig with, but i used a palladium for some heavier tones. sounded great!

typically i start with the same settings for almost everything, volume at 3-4, treble 5-6, bass 4-5, reverb 3. then i adjust to the room or stage. last night it was a strat with antiquity ii jaguar pups, volume 4, treble 5.5, bass 5, reverb 3. the pedalboard i used has eq, clean boost, od, delay, trem. i put the palladium in front of the board. i played a festival a few weeks back and ran the volume on 7, treble 6, bass 3, reverb 3 with just a od. it was glorious

Those start settings are like mine, although I like more reverb, more like 4 or 5. But it depends- some amps are unusable with reverb that high.

i will occasionally turn the reverb up a bit more, but on my amp 3 is a good sound.

I cloned the preamp section of my Fender Bassbreaker (the high gain channel which IMHO is so good) then run that capture in a ToneX One into an ISP Stealth Stereo power amp into a 1x12. This is so lightweight I can take cab, guitar and pedalboard up the stairs 3 floors to the rehearsal room all myself all at once.
