Get the Duncan SP-90-3 Custom Soapbar, you'll be right there if it is an LP style guitar.

He's using a sp90-3 wound by the custom shop... I asked MJ a while ago and she can make one for you for 120$ or so I was told... He has a great tone for sure...

Thanks for the info, listening to any of the social D records, I don't think he uses the neck pick up on his LP. Does anyone have a clue?

he plays lead, so, no

his older stuff was done with a jcm800 and an sg (if my observations of the movie another state of mind were correct)

now he's got a goldtop les paul with the p-90's and modified bassmans, i believe they're modded to be more marshallish

i saw them the other nite in SF. yup, the entire show both Mike and the other guitarist used nothing but P90's. except the last song when the other guy grabed a tele. it was a cool show, and i am a big P90 fan so i had fun watching and listening.
