Love the vibe. It kinda reminded me of something Incubus would do I love some of the leadwork in this, great flow to the song! I'm a little late to the party considering this is from '08, but it still rocks

Thanks man --- those "lead" parts, I consider more of "accent parts," but I like them too. I especially like the clean but loud descending line that busts in right at the beginning of the second verse --- perfect fit for right there - really sets of the verse with energy. Love it.

I liked the guitar work, sounds nice and so does the over all vibe.

My CC on the mix would be start over, the levels are pretty out of balance. As a rule of thumb I think it's good to get a mix on the drums where they are all balanced with each other and set the over all level of the drum mix at about - 6dbs. Then start to fill in the rest with the bass first (which needs a low cut filter on it right now) and then the guitars. Turn your monitors way way down and listen to the balance of all the instruments, work some more then turn them down and check again. Put on a reference CD and check again.

I just hit up Vetteboy for the drum track, hopefully he will get back to me and I can re track it with a more appropriate bass tone (I've learned a lot about playing bass direct and mixing in the last 9 months :laughing: )
