On Sunday morning I watch Sundays with Ola on YT and have my morning coffee and a banana... At video's end, I decided to order a Chug Lite distortion pedal from Ola's outfit. I had money left over from Christmas, and decided I wanted something fun that wasn't guitar parts or tools. It showed up Thursday morning, having been shipped all the way from Spain to my humble domicile in Wichita, Kansas.
BOY! This thing is fizzy as hell. Gonna have to spend some time getting it dialed in. The knobs really work when you turn them - so kudos to whoever designed it. Started on my Katana Mini - didn't take long to give that thing up. Not enough air movement - it was overwhelmed. Went to the Marshall combo, and got much better results. I think ultimately I'll plug it into my Katana 50 to get more control over the reverb and delay. Should be an interesting adventure.
