Just didnt' do it for me. THe good news is that it sold in like 9 minutes or something. If you guys are ever looking to try one, you won't have any issues with selling it! (for those interested, I just sold it for what I paid for it)

Re: Sold the Klon

that good huh? i keep thinking of getting another one but since i dont think ill use it very often it seems pretty foolish

Re: Sold the Klon

Dont' judge the pedal by me. I get Pedal GAS every couple of months, then I end up selling them after a few weeks when the realization hits me that I never really like pedals.

On the flip side, the Lavaboost reminds me a lot of the Full Drive 2 mosfet pedal I had. So, the lavaboost is doing more for me than the Klon did. Just vanilla versus chocolate type thing.

Re: Sold the Klon

What??? Flavors!

No, Captain Coconut 2? (I sold my Captain Coconut to another SD Forum member)

How can it be ?

How much truth is in that statement ???

Thanx
;)

Re: Sold the Klon

Don't know about that but if I didn't care for the rich man's Klon, why would I want to try the poor man's klon? :)

Re: Sold the Klon

Ermmm, for how much ?

$250.00 ?

:yell:

You can find them used for +/- $150.00 USD

Shipping to your part of the world might be interesting, but I got mine in a trade with a guy in Iraq !!!!

FWIW, I sold it to Luke Duke mainly because another pedal I have worked better for ME

Yeah, and you AIN'T gettin it back!

Not to be an asshat, but I can't see a Rocktron being in the same league as a Klon. There's something in their circuity that makes for that particular song. It also has to do with the dual gang pot and the way it interacts with the circuit's gain structure when it changes.

After I played through a Centaur the first time I knew I had to have one. Althought the Banzai isn't exact, it's stupid close and I can deal with that.
