Soldering

Hi guys!

My Classic '50s Telecaster with Texas Specials is buzzing a lot more than my Telecaster Standard. I don't think it's necessarily a grounding problem. I know from experience some guitar buzz more than others for whatever reason, but I suspect it could be a case of bad soldering. Is it normal to solder 2-3 cables in a big pile on the same pot or is it more normal to solder them on different spots on the pot, because that could be the problem on this guitar I think.

I know if the ground wire is lose it will buzz like crazy and the buzzing won't go away when you touch the strings so I don't think it's the ground wire that's the issue.

But all in all, maybe the Classic series buzz a little more than the standard series?

Anyone?

Re: Soldering

Agreed, pictures ... helpful. As long as the connection is solid, all at a single point or at multiple points on the pot casing is the same difference.

Alright, so it doesn't matter if they are all soldered to the same place a top of each other in a pile more or less as long as the soldering is solid?
