Some Fusion..Prashant Aswani style

Hey guys!

I always wanted to record Prashant Aswani's tune "Change Of Seasons" and I took the melody out but did it my style. There's also a B part which was done by me, I don't think you can find this in the original tune. It's just fun, his melody sounds awesome and I kinda concentrated that the production is ok too..should sound fatter than most of the stuff I post here.

+1 on the solo Rid! I've listened to Aswani's version of this! You're version definately has more funk man! :smokin: George Clinton would be proud!

I wonder what it would sound like if you did a version that where you filled some of the gaps in the melody wiht short licks?

Hey Adrian,

wow I've never heard of this artist before. Great tone man. Very smooth humbucker tone! This is a seriously funky tune. Something along the lines of Chic Corea.

Thanks! Yeah, his version is slower, too. Yeah Osensei, some adds would be cool I think.

The mix was important to me..how everything sounds..it's a bit too mellow. It should sound "wider" but I'm learning.
