some ideas about a finish

i'm about to purchase a les paul studio lite, i'm gonna refinish it and have not made up my mind what to do yet. this is your chance to get really creative and give me some ideas. not sure if i'm gonna go with some type of airbrush thing or maybe just a solid color. whatever you think might be cool just post it here. the winner will recieve an all-expense paid I M pic of the finished guitar,lol

i thought about doing that to a couple of guitars. have one for each of my old ladies that in some form or another has the same qulities as them, like a gold top with an airbrush of the blonde. thought about doing some in honor of my ex's too, like a large sound hole martin i could call mandy, guess you know where this is going.................i'll just stop. any more ideas.

i would paint the body a red with stripes, black on inside white on outsides(of stripes), with the stripes going neck-bridge dirrection. I would just 3-5 stripes(depending on width) that wouldnt go outside the sides of the pickups/bridge.
just an opinion worth $.02

I have a idea with stripes, 2 red stripes going down the guitar on the the right side and a black solid finish. And the pickups are red and black with no pickguard

make it a tobacco kind of burst...but then fade the color out like it would look that it's been used alot and faded by sunlight. then clear coat it, so the faded worn wood and burst really looks like it's "underneath" the clearcoat. Then put cream colored details on it, would look real nice imo.

A 'negative' finish: a sunburst that is darker at the center, and a dark brown instead of cream binding.

i like the "aged tobacco burst" idea, i got a bud thats suggesting the dime bag style stripper-flage(spelling?).i like these, but i want something thats just a little more out of the ordinary, in other words, something that there is almost no chance of someone else having one the same finish as mine.
