Some news....

Re: Some news....

That chorus especially sounds intriguing. Though I need another chorus pedal like I need a hole in the head. But...hell...5 isn't too much, right?

Re: Some news....

ahhhhh finally someone who has a bright-as-hell blue LED on their pedal as a default..
Hehe well they are going to be turned down a notch...trust me it is plenty bright in normal....hehe
So is the wah true bypass? I really like that loud "THUNK" coming through the amp when I hit the switch!
Well I actually thinks it is...hehe
I do not think that a buffered wah would be very popular:scratchch
It does not sound like much else, one setting is molded after my old JEN Doublesound wah though.
The chorus is more like an Arion of old times, but not like Boss or MXR, it has input level, and you can switch to vibrato, meaning that you can dial out the clean signal as you please, at full rate there is no clean signal left, only effect.
It gets very warm there, and at less extreme settings it is quite fun, makes my guitars feed very easy when engaging the vibrato part...sweet overtones.
The Chorus will not be all that expensive, I do not think the Wah will be either, the fun part is that they use good parts....and is still pretty non expensive.
The Echotone will cost the same or alittle more than the XL.
We will also make a flanger, there is an optical comp on its way as well, and an overdrive, the DC-Drive.....Thomas and me had that project going on for a few years now, just slowly improving it, and then putting it aside for other projects, but it will come out later now....hehe
That will be one sneaky 9v pedal.....

Re: Some news....

A hurried clip, used my Wolfgang with its slightly specialised PAF Duncan humbucker...low out put.
Used the Echotone as delay, the chorus in vib mode, slow sweep, and the wah, in one high mode, and also changing to a lower setting, you just press your foot
backwards on the pedal and it changes modes.
Full Q as I have no tubeamp here at home right now.....and this really does not do the effects any justice....there is alot more on a concentional amp!

Re: Some news....

I like the input control on the chorus. The Vibrato part should tickle a lot of people's fancy since it seems like the must have effect lately.

How do the delay products stack up? I'm only vaguely familiar with the Delayla and XL, although I do really like the modulation loop on this one. It's digital, I assume? (Tone control to roll off some highs?)

Re: Some news....

Yep a hybrid, analouge signal path with mixed in delay, made just like a normal analouge delay, except the delaychip is digital.
The sound in those are being made in the filtering, the XL is very airy and reverb like, the Red Repeat is a warm traditional delay, the filtering is like the old Delayla, but also sports a toneknob.
The Echotone is a more hifi pretty delay, but not in a bad cold way, the first version could easily go 2 secs without much degradation in the pings, we set the delay down to 1.5 secs instead...just to get a more accurate tempotap.

Re: Some news....

You have a new wah and you're talking about the delay and chorus? priorities!

How's the wah - is it more of a cry baby or a vox, or are we talking about something totaly different here?

Re: Some news....

Good looking and sounding pedals. Your product line is really growing!

I need to try some of the newer ones at The Amp Shop, Studio City. That's the best Carl Martin dealer where I live. They have all the other good ones as well like HBE, T. Rex, Banzai etc.

Re: Some news....

Sounds good mate.

Btw I am feeling better today, I was at the doctor, and I have some kind of sene skedehinde betændelse... Gotta stop playing for a few weeks or else it can get ugly.

Bummer :(

Btw vi har snakket om det med højskole, og jeg har fundet en med solo undervisning som først begynder den 1 september, den ligger på Ærø. Har besluttet mig for at tage et halvt år der :)

Re: Some news....

i'm definitely gonna have to take a good look at that chorus and wah!
