The Chopper Sounds very much like the BOSS SL-20 Slicer pedal.

Did not dive into it much....made our first chopper a few years before the Slicer came out, but it is a much used effect in Trance and stuff like that
So it is one old effect.
I am trying to figure out what funtions that should be footswitchable....we are also planning a small simple version.

I first came across the Slicer as an onboard effect option in Roland ROMpler synthesizers.

Thanks...all analouge....16 steps and options for direction or back and forth...
Pan and soft mode, expression or manuel time(no bloody taptempo, so don't ask )
The 16 steps can be set on and off and everything between, to what ever pattern you like.
We will squeeze it into a smaller box when we get the final layout done, and stick it all onto a PCB.
The bypass will probally be relay based with this thing...
