Hot DAMN...

Can I have the Charvel Model 6 or LP Studio???

Re: some of my guitars

there are a few I didn't get in there, but that is the guitars for the most part. the pics are kind of grainy. Hmmmmmm oh well.

Re: some of my guitars

In your profile, you say it's a Model 4. I'm pretty darn shure the M4 was bolt on. Does yours have a kahler? That'd nail it as a 6.

is used to have a floyd style bridge that said jackson on it. the fine tuners were on the back post. Switched it to a regular floyd to use the d-tuna on it. so it may be a 6, that was many years ago when i bought that guitar. It's probably older than you are LOL.

I'll give you 60' dollars for the Tele one the far right and the Silverface it's leaning on.

LOL most definitally older than me, I'd still kill for it! My old guitar teacher had a Model 6, same thing with HSS. Really low action and nice playability. Most definitally going to pick up a M5 with the kahler someday.

Re: some of my guitars

the rusty steelcaster has S.D. antiquities in it. I originally "thought" it sould sound tinny. when i tried it it was probably one of the warmest, and ballsy guitars I have. it sounds gret through a jcm 800, or a juiced up twin. there is absoloutly no "ice pick" to that guitar. With the pup not being waxed it can feedback easier than a potted pup, but it is an awesome guitar. It is in the top 3 of the most toneful guitars I have. the action was high initially, i lowered it a bit. plays great now

Wow... I heard that they sounded like a solid dobro. I also heard that they sounded incredibley good. Just curious. Strange looking guitar, though. Did it come stock with SD ants? So.. what componants on it are actually wood and what's metal?

How much do those run you? Once I get my own place I may interested in getting one to decorate with... :laugh2:

It came stock with antiquities. It is a Koa neck (great feeling wood.) with clay dot inlays. it either has a mahogany or koa block under the bridge. About 2" x 4". otherwise the guitar is all metal. it has that metal inlay on the headstock that works like one of the old fatboy clamp on things. I have never popped the hood on the guitar. I imagine it has cts pots, but I don't know exactly what cap value, or the maker. the guitar is not real high pitched, so at time i wonder ir he didnt modify the cap value to darken the tone a little. But it is still a very warm guitar. i use it to decorate a bit. nice Retro Garbage look.

WOW! Your guitar collection is amazing!! But, I must admit, I am more drawn to the idyllic surrounds (your house?) than the guitar collection. A far cry from my NYC apartment, nestled 7 stories above a busy Brooklyn street ...

that's all my wife, i couldn't decorate my way out of a box with crayons.

Nice collection.

What year's that HM Strat? US or Jap? How's the finish? Most HMs I've come across have been beaten to sh*t, but that one looks pretty unspoiled.

I believe it is an 85-86. there is one pretty messed up spot, but otherwise pretty good. It has a JB in the bridge, cool rail in the middle, hotrail in the neck. It is my KINGS X guitar.
