I'll take that Trussart and ES-295. Where did you get the Trussart, and how much?

I got the Trussart in Seattle at Emerald City Guitars. I'm trying to remember exactly how much I paid for it. I think it was in the 23 to 2400 range, that was new. For the life of me I can't recall exactly. The 295 is an original early 50's. Cool guitar, but not for shreddin.

I wonder what guys like us would be like, if we were millionaires? I know I'd be one sick MOFO, if I knew the money wouldn't run out. I've met a few guys like Norman from Norman's Rare Guitars and George Gruhn. They have vintage guitar collections that are obscene. Literally rooms full of cases with every holy grail you ever imagined. It sounds obsessive, but it's really just a great hobby, and much smarter than wasting your money on far worst investments.

I love the Trussart/295 pic! Damn that is a real jem that 295! I would love to get one of those someday, quite a nice guitar. Must sound fantastic through those old Fenders.

I was playing the "what if" game with the wife the other day when the lottery ws 290 mill. I figured in a 2-3 day period, which encompased a trip from seattle, to the tri-cities (music machine) to spokane/couer dalene, i could easily spend between 50-100k in 3 days. those are pretty close figures also. I even decreased the figure a bit for bargaining. That is a bogner in marysville, 2-4 guitars and a couple amps in seattle. Tri cities is where it gets expensive with all the reissues at music machine. Then there are a few vintage pieces at a dealer in Post Falls. He has tons of old archtops and a few vintage amps. i would be one sic mofo if I had the means.

it's been in the family for awhile. Sounds great clean, and can pull of some Blues also.

the only insturments that have been in my family for a while are two accordians, a Thomas organ and an old Cherry Wood Piano... and a sear's Acoustic guitar that I destroyed. And three Washburn Flying V basses, a 70's P-bass, a 70's Ampeg stack and tons of 80's junk... but, a few years before I took up bass, my uncle sold all that stuff for a song! NOOO!!!!
