Some P90 in Bridge & Staple P90 in the neck??

For my Strat project, I've decided on the Staple for the neck, but not sure whether to go with the SD Vintage P90 & an Antiq P90 in the bridge. It will be a 2 vol, 1 tone 3-way, maybe 4 way for N&B in series, setup.
Any thoughts on the bridge p/u for this job?
Thanks~

So you're having your guitar routed then.........

Neither p90 bridge option is better or worse.......

Some P90 in Bridge & Staple P90 in the neck??

Still the same guitar?

Based on the fact that I gave you a few recommendations for the middle pickup (that you don't have), and for the SSS wiring (that you won't use) and for the P90 neck (that you didn't choose), in at least 3 separate threads, I'm thinking Invader for the bridge. :)

Or antiquity if you have to choose between those two.

That's funny, Invader, one of Duncan's most powerful & soulless pu's? Actually i had one in the bridge in this very guitar 25+ yrs. ago, opposite some late 60's Strat pups, & it gave my many yrs of great service, but now it's in my daughter's Hello Kitty guitar! Did you ever have more than 1 idea going at the same time? I will suely be using all of your ideas, soon enough. I'm seriously building several pickguards for my one body which was routed for HBs decades ago, so I'm ready for any possible change. And P90's, whether it be Staple in the neck, and a Vintage or Antiq in the bridge, as I have described, is certainly a definite, so thanks for all your schematics, ideas & offerings......they have not been a waste of your time & i appreciate all your help. But now it's P90 time & I'm seeking cool & well balanced setups to use with a neck Staple, & it sounds you might have said go Antiquity,.... it's for mostly cleans & medium gain settings. Thanks all, espec. Blillie & Alex~~

I'm just being silly :)

Happy to help. Can't wait to see your guitar.

The staple will need the rout deepened (in the middle) to the same depth that the electrics/switch cavity on a strat body is routed to. You will need to make sure the corners are left as the mounting screws are located there.

If you are using higher gain, or high volume, the Vintage P90 is a better choice, as it is potted. If the ultimate in touch-sensitivity is needed, go with the Antiquity. Tonally, they are similar. But you get more dynamic range with the Antiquity.
