Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

It makes an awesome guitar kickstand for pics!

I remodeled my entire workshop last week from top to bottom in preparation to begin building my new line of D'Avanzo Guitars. Yesterday after finishing up working on one of the Charvels from my collection I sat it on the bench in the position you see below to look at it and thought it would make for some cool pics with the new bench as the backdrop. So I shot all my guitars in the same position. Well, most of them in the same position, the Les Paul doesn't have a cool kickstand and was a bit too wobbly to trust on its side.

Nice. Always loved your photography skills.

Now, what's this about a new line?

Re: Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

That first one has to be one of my favorite guitars on the forum.

Re: Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

Kickstands! I love it!! Nice shop! Burst guitars arent my fav but the rest of them are Sick!!!

Re: Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

jmh151...thanks. I took pics of the whole shop too if you want to see the rest I can post them.

ErikH...Thanks Erik but this was just a quicky on autopilot no photo magic here. Just a tripod and a camera on program mode. Didn't even bother setting anything manually, let the camera do the work...true lazyness haha. As for the new line...still ironing out lots of details but there will be a D'Avanzo brand line of guitars in the near future.

Agileguy_101....Funny, everyone loves the relic and it's actually #1 guitar too.

grumptruck...Thanks. yeah I'm a bit obsessive about details that's for sure.

Rand-O-Monium...Thanks.

Varg...The pink and black is my tribute to one of my favorite cars...Panther Pink AAR 'Cuda.

King IzzO)))...Yeah the green sparkle went from a single hum, to a hum single and now a set of Injectors. I love it as it is now, it finally found its own voice after trying a few things.

kirbyg...Thanks, it's one of my favorites I own and my go to #1 that all other guitars are judged based on.

BloodRose...Thanks. I love a good ol' 2 tone burst on a beat to crap strat. It's just iconic.

Re: Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

I so want that gold sparkle one!!! :D Need a hat to match!

Re: Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

I concur that your pics are always great. Even your quick autopilot is better than the stuff Ive worked hard on...

I too am anxious for details on your new line

Re: Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

cohibacris...I've never heard it either. I'm just going to assume it's a good thing haha.

stevie_bees...The gold sparkle may actually be my favorite guitar aesthetically. It's just got such a cool vibe to it. No slouch in the tone and feel area either.

JOLLY...No stuffing for you! That sticker actually came from one of my dogs chew toys that's a stuffed animal with...you guessed it, no stuffing. I just thought it was funny and stuck it on there.

TheLivingDead...Now I feel all dirty. :eek1:

BloodRose...Thanks. The new line, I guess it's more of a brand, not a line since everything will be sort of a la carte based off a wide range of options and built for the player to fit their needs. I have a standard headstock shape I'm finalizing and from there it's all really up to the buyer. Body shape (several options), neck shape, fret sizes, hardware, woods, finishes, etc etc. all of it. I don't want to build stuff people want to modify to fit their need (see all my Charvels haha) I want to build exactly what players want and not have to charge them $3K for it or some crazy price. Lots of details to iron out. I refuse to settle or cut corners so it's a long process getting details worked out.

Re: Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

that pink guitar, magneta like. It made me go 'oh my...' (think it saying me with a superdeep voice) and then I thought 'George Takei must really luv this banjo!'. I do, anyway.

Re: Some pics and yet another reason the Floyd Rose rocks...

Those are some fine lookin guitars! I'm sweet on that
Tobacco burst, and the frames. Bench looks good. Am in the proses of building a bench. I have a space that is only 7' x 11' so it is going to be my router table as well. Will be interesting with my band saw, drill press, and stationary belt sander in there as well. Wish I had room for my table saw.
