It's one of the most versatile tube pre amps ever. Anything from super clean to ball-smashing METAL!!!! Plus it has 5 yes 5 separate effects loops. One for each of the 3 channels, one for the Crunch/Ultra channel and one that affects all channels. VERY handy and it sounds friggin heavy a** awesome.:smokin:

The only thing I really use it for is clean chorus and pitch shifting. Other than that, I tweak it to sound like my amp with it off. To some, that doesn't make much sense but I don't have the ends for a G-Major. I also use it sort of like a volume pedal, that way, I can turn up the master on the JSX a little without waking my son(I'm at school and work from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.) and still have a good tone. Even w/ the master turned low it sounds very good but it is still too loud. :smokin: :banana:
