Some Riff Ideas I Came Up With Last Night While Watching TV

They're nothing special recording and tone wise. They just kind of popped in my head, and I figured I'd record them before I forgot them. However, I think once I get all of my ideas down, and my sound the way I hear it in my head, they could be ok.

Basically it will kick off with the main riff in it's straight up 4/4 timing as far as drums go.....kick, snare, kick, snare, and so forth, and then it will kind of go half time on the drums. Rinse and repeat.

I think I'll stick with the Drop B demo for what it is, and then use the other riff of the Drop D Demo for it's own song.

The one in drop B I think you should step on in it a little bit..kick it up to higher octane..sounds like your on 'Ludes.

The one in drop B I think you should step on in it a little bit..kick it up to higher octane..sounds like your on 'Ludes.

That's the one that I actually played to a click track. The other one in Drop D is just me goin raw with my own personal timing.

I'd meld the two in drop B, since they both have some similar chunk parts and the drop D has that cool higher note thing going on. 4/4 would be cool, but with a lot of cymbal + bass drum accents on the ending parts of the riffs (that follow the riffs) so the drums aren't too "normal." I'm hearing double bass over certain parts with open chords.

Wait until she goes into heat, if she's not fixed. Some of those wails would sound killer with these, all distorted and twisted, with echos and stuff.

I'd use that drop D part as the bridge, or chorus of the overall Drop B tune.
