Actually, we went through this back around the first of the year, and some messages to the mods were fired off stating the same thing. They contacted me and checked out a few things. Instead of getting into another flame war, my best defense is that I am still here....................... That tell ya anything?

Dont worry about it. I have yet to be picked and numerous noobs/occasional members have been so, the masses obviously would rather ask a far less active member questions instead.

As for my favorite dish, I am gonna go with Surf & Turf. It just doesn't get any better than Shrimp, Scallops, Crab Claws, a Lobster Tail and an extra rare T-bone. Man, now I've gone and made myself hungry..........

1st - has no one mentioned that hot chick on the pick? Pretty hot..
2nd - When I used to be in a band years back, the bass player was very moody and "dark". The singer, who was ALWAYS happy and in a good mood, would complain about the bass players mood and overall bad habits (weed, drinking, couldnt hold a job <or pay for rehearsal space>).
Me and the bass player started the band, and I knew him and his family well. So one day, I pulled the singer aside to explain that the bass player's father killed himself when he was younger (he was a war veteran). The bass player was like this since I met him, and the death of his father years prior seemed to traumatize him, according to his family.
The singer, who I did not know that well at the time, listened to me, and his response shocked me - he told me how when he was younger, he walked in and found his mother, who also had killed herself. He then went on to say that all of us experience tragedy at some time, but we have to be strong and pull through it.
Today, the singer is doing well and is married with kids. The bass player lives by the kindness of others, and has trouble coping with any stress. He did not have the good fortune to have a wealthy family.
I do not offer this story, which is 100% true, as another stab at Lucid - just food for thought that you can pull through...

I made some pics of the old smokehouse that my 2nd great grandfather built in the 1850s. It has been restored along with an old corncrib from the same time. The logs are American Chestnut. And a little guitar pron...........
