Maybe the only opinion that's never changed for me is that double creme is ugly af. Didn't understand the griping when I joined the forum almost 20 years ago, still don't.

There are cases when double cream is the best option to match the existing guitar electronics and plastics. That should be the only time it's a significant issue.

Yep, but Duncan don't make double cream for the export market afaik.

I haven't come across any non-US manufacturer that refuses to make double cream humbukers.

If someone wanted to flood YouTube with images of double cream humbukers it would be a question of ordering pickups with a brand name in double cream from any non-US manufacturer.

I like it on a semi-hollow too. (That's my double cream '59n)
