Something is wrong with my new tele ...

Ok, I just got a new tele. The guitar itself is ok but I found a tremolo arm among the goodies like strap, manual etc. As far as I know tele has hardtail brdige. I looked at the bridge of my tele and there is no way you can hook it up there. What am I supposed to do with it?

That would be my Squire....tried to pull a SRV with it against the floor. I've done it plenty of times, but this last time I guess the arm had enough and just snapped. Now I need to figure out a way to get that screw-in part out of the bridge!

Easily corrected: just take that Tele to the nearest woodshop and drill a 1/4" hole in the top just below the bridge. Screw that arm into it. No sense letting it go to waste... :smack: :yell: :blackeye: ...guess I had that comin.

I got a whole bunch of Strat arms and one Strat. This Tom Anderson hollow T Classic has a kool Strat like trem...I like it.

its a mistake just keep it for a spare tremolo arm is you ever lose one on your strat. I woulnd't drill a hole intro it, it might take away from the tele look and its sustain i think... not sure but ya. Teles look awesome but i dunno baout the trem arm.
